What Is Greed In Macbeth
Macbeth is a man with high ambition and wanting his ambition to come true is greed. He was too greedy that even after becoming Thane of Cawdor, he continued to look higher at the seat of king. Being Thane meant being a noble and no ordinary one either. Macbeth had connections and trust from the King and many others but betrayed that trust because of his greed. Becoming king wasn’t enough, Macbeth wanted his sons to be kings and tried to kill Banquo and his son Fleance. Macbeth represents greed perfectly as he kills many people to become and stay

    Written by William Shakespeare, Macbeth, is a well known tragedy based on the influence of greed. The main character, Macbeth, is described to be a greedy, selfish, cowardly man, and as the story continues, Macbeth portrays these traits as he fights for the crown.
