What does it take to succeed in the business field? Possessing a business degree to one having numerous job opportunities. Chief executive, treasurer and controllers, and investment fund managers are some of the jobs a business degree can help one to achieve. In order for one to achieve a business degree and be successful in business field jobs one must possess certain skills. Time management, proactive problem solving, and leadership are skills one must possess to obtain a business degree and to be successful in the business field. First, one must be effective in time management to be successful in the business field. Jobs in the business field can be demanding and challenging. As a chief executive time management is critical. One would have a numerous amount of duties that varies in difficulty and have personnel to manage. In business there will be deadlines. One will have to be able to prioritize workloads and manage time effectively in order to make deadlines. Effective time management is a vital skill set for an individual to possess in order to be successful in obtaining a business degree and in be a part of the business field. …show more content…
In the business field one will come across challenging situations and problems. Proactive problem solving allows one to have the ability to help prevent a problem and to be calm and relax when a problem arises. Being able to prevent problems and to handle problems quickly can save a person plenty of time. The time one saves by being proactive in problem solving can be utilized elsewhere. Proactive problem solving is a vital skillset to have if one wish to be a chief executive, treasurer and controller, and investment fund manager. For one to be successful in handing the numerous problems that will occur in the business field and to succeed that person must be a proactive problem
