What Exactly Does Smes Mean Small-Medium Enterprises?
What exactly does SMEs mean? SMEs mean small-medium enterprises. How many employees’ should a company have to be considered an SME? According to http://www.gdrc.org/sustbiz/what-are-smes.html small and medium enterprises should consist of at least 200 people for it to be a small and medium enterprise. SMEs success is dependent on good staff management. Because without good staff members how will you run your enterprise. These days enterprises hire good staff members because if they don’t then the enterprise is going to end up pretty bad. What number one means is that you should have a goal for your employee, like for example you tell one of your staff members to sell 50 products within a day that’s like their goal. Management should also ensure the employees’ strengths and weaknesses are taken into consideration when assigning them into a particular set of goals or position. Regular review of the employee’s performance will allow you to keep track of employee’s work satisfaction, product movement and customer preference.
Number two is stating that you commend your employees for the good job that they have done, for example they have sold the 50 products within the day you should commend them for how good of a job they have done. Another one is commend an individual instead of the team because when you commend an individual it really feels good because I know someone who has experienced that because this person is in the basketball varsity team, and when his coach commends him for it he has that look on his face, the look of joy.
