Elizabeth Ann Eckford attended Central High School. Central High School was located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Elizabeth was one of the nine African-American students who attended the 1957 integration of Central High School. Elizabeth was born October 4, 1941(Wikipedia). Elizabeth is 74 years old today.

There are two words that describe Elizabeth Eckford. The two words I chose were determined and courageous. Elizabeth is determined because she volunteered to try to integrate Central High School.     She is truthful, yet weak. She is a official in the court in Salem, along with Abigail and the others who confessed. She comes home one day with a poppet, and gives it to Elizabeth Proctor. Later in the evening a man named Cheever comes with charges of witchcraft against Elizabeth. He asks if in the house there are any poppets, Elizabeth says “No i’ve not had one since i was a child.” Upon looking around the house he finds the one Mary had made today, and uses it against Elizabeth.
