What Are Legislative Liaisons
One role I would be interested in exploring is a legislative liaison. A legislative liaison is the communication between a person (citizens) and the legislatures (policy-makers). Legislative liaisons are very important in policy-making as they are the connection to what citizens want, and what needs to be done to better benefit their needs. They research, discuss, and help pass policies that need to be addressed at a legislature level. I would be very interested in exploring this profession as it places a social worker among high ranking officials that make policies happen. Having a social worker as a legislative liaison
