What Achievement means to me
What Achievement Means To Me
When there is a problem, I’m the one that you would ask to solve it. If someone was mixed up in a tangled mess, I’m there to straighten it out. I will always be the one that will make society look at the positive outlook of a brilliant idea gone wrong. I’m that special someone that will help you realize that the idea is still brilliant even though it may have taken a turn for the worse. I have always been recognized for my gift to lift someone’s spirits. It has always been evident that Public Relations is the career for me. Dreams and ambitions or not just sleep clouds and small child fantasies that are only in my imagination. Dreams and ambitions keep me focused and energized to achieve all that God has for me.
What is achievement to me? The meaning of achievement is obtaining exertion or successful performance. That’s the proper definition according to Webster’s Dictionary. But to me, achievement means so much more. My goals and ambitions are life opportunities that I refuse to compromise or let be compromised. Obtaining my goals and working hard towards my ambitions is a very important factor at this point in my life. In my opinion, achievement is everlasting. It can be good or bad. It just depends on how one chooses to take advantage of it.
For example, a criminal has stolen a man’s fortune successfully; he has achieved his goal. It’s a very bad achievement, but he was successful. However, a Christian such as myself, looks to accomplish those goals which are in the will of God. I know it is His will that I excel as an outstanding student in high school and college; live each day as a good example to other young people; and serve Him by using the multiple gifts He has given me. I will one day complete God’s will and reach all of the goals that I have set for myself, then I will have reached complete achievement.
Everyone has a person that inspires them to seek the career goal that they aspire, such as a

In less than a century after Muhammad created the Islamic faith and state, Muslims and the new cultural power of Islam controlled half of the civilized world. Expansion that started with the rule of the Rightly Guided Caliphs continued under the Umayyad Dynasty, which ruled from A.D 661 to 750. Islam gained political control and influence from Spain to the borders of China. In A.D. 750, the Abbasids replaced the Umayyad and the capital of Islam changed from Damascus in Syria to Baghdad in Iraq. Baghdad grew into the intellectual center of the Muslim world, even if the Abbasids did not maintain control over the same huge empire. From the beginning, learning was greatly valued in Islamic culture. During this period in Islamic history, education and scholarship flourished. Muslim scholars achieved many important innovations and discoveries in a wide range of studies and interests including zoology, astronomy, herbal medicine, hospitals, algebra, irrigation and polo.…

“Achievement” simply is an accomplishment in whatever goals you’ve set for yourself, not necessarily earning a lot of money. Achievement is doing what you want to do within the bounds of the law. It is the pursuit of dreams. It is liberty from the chains of fear and unbelief. It is recognition of what makes you unique and what you have to offer others. It is the realization, the substance, and the tangibility of a dream fulfilled.…

A great deal of people define success as living a life of luxury with brand new expensive vehicles, a big beautiful home and so much money you couldn’t possibly spend it in this lifetime. I’m not one of those persons. I can define success in one word; stability. When you reach a point in your life where all your bills are paid, you have a roof over your head, even if it’s just a small studio apartment, and you’re not worried about where your next meal will come from, I believe you have become successful.…

I want to be a businessman, or perhaps a surgeon, or a teacher or maybe a politician. These were my answers during my childhood years, wishfully or maybe thoughtlessly. What do you want to achieve in your life, what is your ambition in life, what do you want to be when you grow old: are but questions that even preschoolers “has” to answer. Society dictates that once I was born or even when I was still in my mother’s womb or even before I was conceived, I am already bounded to be an achiever. Would he be an actor, or an engineer or an architect: as my parents used to discuss among the two of them.…

On our program, I’ve experienced new things like helping people and thus communicating to them and also have fun. We enjoyed our little time with them and even it just a short time I felt that I’ve made new friends again. At first, I wasn’t sure if I can participate with the class and so with the group because it was actually my first time experiencing that kind of approach. In the place where I was used to which is overseas we didn’t even have that kind of program. That’s why I am really glad and shocked that I did it, I really approach them and talked to them. There were some rules that were informed to us before we enter to their home and we understood that especially I and I respect them for that. I admit that I don’t have enough self- confidence to have a conversation yet for myself I did great because I even introduce myself with a smile on my face and on top of that they remembered my name when our professor asked them what is my name. On my personal view aside from that it is required for our NSTP102 I want to know them more and be friends with them even for just a short time because I cannot promise that I can go back at Bahay Pag-asa because like the guards informed us “Don’t promise anything to also avoid being hurt or down”. I will do my best in fulfilling what I have to and thus overcome my fears and I hope at the end of our program we enlightened them with their hearts open for a new adventure, a new beginning.…
