The facts state that the Keller’s were in need of a industrial dehumidifier to eliminate the hot, humid, foul-smelling air near and around the pool area. Not having much knowledge of the correct size needed for the job, they received two bids. One bid on a 7.5 ton and the other on a 10 ton dehumidifier. Thinking the 7.5 ton would be too small the Keller’s had the president of Inland Metals and a representative for the manufacturer visit the club. Both agreed that the 7.5 would work. Inland then followed up with a letter stating the same information, that the 7.5 ton would work and rid the club of the issues they were having. Once the dehumidifier was installed it did not perform to the standards set by the president of Inland and the manufacturer representative.…

The issue that arises in this plot is whether the conglomerates are negligent for the contamination of the water supplies of the town, and if their negligence contributed to the injuries (leukemia) of the multiple plaintiffs. After finding that there has been a breach of duty, one must consider if the defendant’s conduct was the cause-in-fact of the…
Mill Creek, Washington is a new city compared to the others. In fact, it was incorporated in 1983. That being said, it’s population has quickly grown over the years from 3,000 to well over 44,000 residents in 2009. This growth may be due to the variety of activities that the city has to offer such as an 18- hole golf course and country club.…
The problem is that the state of Michigan switched their water supply from Lake Huron to their own which is the Flint River. The Flint River is contaminated with eroded iron and lead which attacks people immunes systems because they are consuming it as tap water. It is a problem because the whole population uses the tap water in their homes for personal usage , which is detrimental to their health and will cause later medical issues in the long run. Forty percent of the population is living in Michigan while the other 50 percent is abandoned homes and that forty percent is living below poverty and they can all rely on is tap water , but the downfall is that the water is contaminated. The population of Flint Michigan is affected by health…
BACKGROUND By 1999, Clark Faucet Company had grown into the third largest supplier of faucets for both commercial and home use. Competition was fierce. Consumers would evaluate faucets on artistic design and quality. Each faucet had to be available in at least twenty-five different colors. Commercial buyers seemed more interested in the cost than the average consumer, who viewed the faucet as an object of art, irrespective of price. Clark Faucet Company did not spend a great deal of money advertising on the radio or on television. Some money was allocated for ads in professional journals. Most of Clark's advertising and marketing funds were allocated to the two semiannual home and garden trade shows and the annual builders trade show. One large builder could purchase more than 5,000 components for the furnishing of one newly constructed hotel or one apartment complex. Missing an opportunity to display the new products at these trade shows could easily result in a sixto twelve-month window of lost revenue.…
