I am filing this complaint due to the dishonesty associated with West Laurel Water Association. West Laurel Water District asked ($4,500.00) forty-five hundred dollars to provide a water meter and water service for my new home construction. Two (2) representatives from West Laurel Water Association came out to my families' property and told us to temporary hook into a family member's water line for temporary service until grant money could be used to reduce the installation of my very own water meter to the more reasonable cost of ($500) five-hundred dollars. After this promise was made, we personally undertook the cost of ($250) two-hundred fifty dollars, along with the associated labor, to hook into a family member's water line for temporary
