Wasting Billions
My name is frank a couple of years ago I was on welfare drug testing. While I was on it I never did any kind of drugs. I was clean for the 2 years I received help. I had a friend that would always do drugs, he wouldn’t care about what his consequences would be. One day he got tested and he was in big trouble. People from the government think it is great to do drug tests, but what they are really doing is wasting billions on drug tests. Out of those billions only a few tests come out dirty. There is a huge amount of people like me that don’t do any drugs so why bother in doing a drug test, and wasting good money on something that isn’t going to make a change. “Many ask and wonder if we should drug test but there is no point to it because it’s only a waste of states money.”(Salon Media Group) There is no point to do drug tests. People won’t listen and do the right thing. “Drug tests are expensive it takes a lot of money to get them, Millions.”(Salon Media Group) It’s so much money that’s a waste. I wouldn’t do drug tests id actually use the money wisely. “It is not important to drug test according to congress votes people are angry for the state to lose and be wasting money for something that isn’t worth. (Salon Media Group) Congress and everyone else agrees to not waste money. People are very mad about the money that the state wastes.
In conclusion, welfare drug testing is a waste because millions and billions of dollars are wasted each time they buy an expensive test. Many people are mad because this shouldn’t be happening, and because it isn’t right for lazy people to get away with everything. There is also people who actually do things the right way. It isn’t good for people to do the tests. However it does and does not make a change. It can save us some great money that we all
