3 How is the strengths-based approach used in the assessment phase? Provide an example.

The strengths-bases approach is used during the assessment phase by finding the strengths of the client and finding a way to use those strengths to help the client. A client has a positive outlook and is welling to learn new items to help themselves. They have a vast computer knowledge but have poor social skills. You would build on the computer skills and work on the social skills. Building the things that the client is good at while building what their weaknesses are this will give the client a more positive mentality.
