Week 9
I have considered purchasing a new home; I am going to involve all the 10 principles of economics in my decision to see whether it is the right time to buy. The most important part of purchasing a home is the financial area with income, taxes, and annual percentage rates. The decision to purchase a house is one of the most important decisions that the average consumer will make in his or her lifetime. This decision, in the best of circumstances, must be weighed very carefully. In a fickle economy such as the one the United States faces now, the weight of this decision is even heavier. If one makes the wrong decision, it could have financial repercussions for years to come. There are many points to be considered when deciding on whether or not to buy a house. If you are not prepared to give up something to get something then it is not the right time to buy.

The housing market changes quite frequently and depending on the city, state, and neighborhood. When a home-buyer is interested in purchasing a home they look for what fits their needs, life style, and budget. This is important because it will also determine what type of house they can afford to live in and how much they can get for the amount their budget will allow. Buyers and sellers will look for certain variables when purchasing or selling a home and data must be gathered to make sure that all details match and that all requirements are met. It would be safe to assume that our theory that the larger the house and the more rooms a house has, the more expensive the price of the house will be. The three major variables in our data summary are: number of bedrooms, size of the house, and number of baths.…

Based on Mike’s behaviors and lack of professionalism and work ethic, Justin can tell that Mike is not performing his ethical duties. As the ACA Code of Ethics (2005) states, Justin should first attempt to resolve the issue informally with his colleague (ACA, 2005, p.19). Confronting another counselor about unethical behavior may be difficult and cause feelings of discomfort for both counselors involved. This is an ethical responsibility and may be the only action needed to resolve the problem (Remley & Herlihy, 2014, p. 388). Justin should approach Mike with an attitude of empathy and compassion which may help Mike to see that he needs to correct these problems. Using a judgmental attitude when discussing the problem with Mike would be unhelpful. Justin should point out that ethical standards A.1 and C.2.F are of concern. If the problem is not resolved, further action needs to be taken. If Justin believes this will cause conflict between himself and Mike, he could report any concerns to his principal, who is the person that both of these counselors report to. The principal would be the only other appropriate person to intervene in this case at this point.…

You couldn't tell this by looking at me but my Dad's side of the family is Spanish and Navajo mixed and my Mom's side is from all over the place and mainly from Texas. I would say that I consider myself a "typical" American, I would imagine that we all can. The United States is great because of all the diversity, with so many different people who consider themselves American I think its hard to say there is even a "typical" looking American.…
