Web-based Pizza Ordering Systems
INTRODUCTION The Pizza Ordering System is a new system that replaces the current manual and telephone processes for ordering and picking up lunches in the Process Impact Pizza. The system is expected to evolve over several releases, ultimately connecting to the Internet ordering services for several local restaurants and to credit and debit card authorization services. The present existing system of pizza ordering is done manually or by telephone, which is too lengthy and tedious.
•Purpose:
The Purpose is to develop a project which maintain online orders and perform the required billing and helps to manage details about the meals available, the inventory and the employees.

•Scope of the project:
The system will provide the facility for user to create and delete his registry. User can view menu, call help number or order online from the menu. User will be issued a smart card so that he benefits from the offers after acquiring points and get various discounts

Problem Definition

There are many different web based ordering systems. Those systems do not offer all the functionality that is needed. Ordering systems usually allow people to add products and separate them in different categories and subcategories. Modifying the records is not very easy, since for a minute change the whole record would be required to re-entered. For instance, if, the address of any customer changes then locating that customer and doing modification is very tedious.
Existing web shop solutions involves putting products in categories. Such a division is not suitable for ordering custom pizzas. There is a need to allow users to pick ingredients for a pizza, ability to configure multiple custom pizzas and the ability to order other products besides pizzas.
