Dear Sirs
With reference to our order No.TD4284, we will have to ship 50 tons of black sesame and 50 tons of golden sesame in upcoming May, but we regret to inform you that we do not have the capacity to complete this order within the delivery date as we agreed. As you may be aware, the weather in Vietnam is extremely unfavourable for cultivation at the beginning of the year. The long spell of cold weather lasts till February and when the sun emerges, it results in the drought.
Thought we have made our attempt to collect goods all over the country, we still have not delivered enough goods promptly. We hope very much that we are able to ship them to you in the middle of November. As a result, we propose that you extend the validity of the letter of credit opened in 8 April 2013 until the end of June.
We apologize sincerely for this delay, which is due to circumstances beyond our control and hope that this does not put you to too much inconvenience.
