We Need To Stop Animal Testing
Save these animals: STOP ANIMAL TESTING

Introduction:
That new hair product you just bought, that lip balm you just used, did you know that you could have just killed a harmless animal. Imagine getting hundreds of needles poked into, one after the other. Would you like that to happen to you? You don’t even get a reward for being good, you get given infection and disease. Most of this infections and disease lead to death. This is cruel and selfish. Human life is no greater value than animals. Animal testing is not reliable to humans as we have different immune systems. It is unnecessarily done. Why do we need to kill lives to test our products on them? Don’t we all deserve to live a healthy hurt free life?

I’m really glad that most companies are animal friendly now. Just because they’re small and can’t defend themselves doesn’t mean we get to use and mutilate their bodies for our own personal gain. For example, have you learned about Dr. Mengele? He was called the Angel of Death and he worked in the camps at Auschwitz. He was one of the sickest men alive next to Hitler. Mengele had an interest in twins so he would conduct a series of experiments on them. Some of them were pulling every hair out of their body and seeing which ones were the same, he would test on eyes to see if he could change all of the colors to blue, he would dump a woman in cold water and then throw her in hot water to watch the dramatic changes in the body as it goes from cold to hot, and various other things I’d rather not talk about. How do you think the animals feel being injected with chemicals and killed? Remember the guy who created Insulin? He used dogs. He went through hundreds before one lived. Testing on animals isn’t right, but neither is testing on humans.…

“The world does not need another eyeliner, hand soap, food ingredient, drug for erectile dysfunction, or pesticide so badly that it should come at the expense of animals’ lives” (Top five). Animals are being wasted every year by testing them on useless products that are not necessary. In addition, the animals are killed at the end of each test, thus, thousands of animals die with pain. The tests the animals receive are inhumane. “To test rabbits for development of toxicity, a pregnant rabbit is taken and exposed by force feeding, throughout her pregnancy. She is killed on the day she is expected to give birth. Her babies are extracted and evaluated for birth defects” (Cosmetic). These types of testing are morally wrong.…

Though animal testing should be banned from ever being practiced or used again, people still view it as a necessity despite all of the evidence against it. Animal testing requires inhumane, unsanitary, unsafe, or cruel conditions that if done to humans would be outlawed since they either reduce the quality of life or cause disease or death. Seeing that animals are living, breathing creatures that want to survive just as much as people do, assuming that test conditions are not good for human kind, then they are not good for any living creatures. Furthermore, they are inherently wrong by nature. Tolerating animal cruelty promotes the same insensitivity that allows cruelty to people, such as serial killers and the early incidents of animal torture.…

They are so easy to use and the benefits are so great that people don’t really care how they are made before they hit the shelves. But not many people think about all the tests that the product had to go through to get on the store's shelves. Not many people think about the negatives of the product and all the test that are done on ANIMALS. It is not morally acceptable for scientists to use live animals in research for medicine that can be used to cure humans. Today we continue to use animals in experiments to learn more about health problems that affect both humans and animals and to ensure the safety of new medical treatments. Now that we know the purpose of animal testing, is it really worth killing millions of innocent animals? This practice is morally wrong and inconsiderate of us for letting this happen. People should stop using animals as experiment subjects and utilize the advance technology that we have now. This is happening because we are letting it happen! We have to start by educating others on this issue because the lack of knowledge on animal testing is why people…

Many people today can say they love their pet, whether it is a dog, a cat, a rabbit, or fish. Little do we actually think about the animals suffering to the torture of cruel animal testing that goes on behind the scenes of the company’s we love. Maybelline, Head and Shoulders, and Clorox are all companies that test on animals, yet are still supported by the thousands of people that buy and use their products. I believe the main reason people continue to support companies that perform animal testing is because society today is not informed or educated about the severity of animal testing. People do not know or care to research if a company performs animal testing. Besides consumers keeping these companies alive and running, animal testing is not humane or morally right. It has been scientifically proven that animals can to a certain extent feel pain (Tell Me if it Hurts: Investigating Whether Animals Feel Pain by Caroline…

Animal testing has been a topic of debate for many generations. It is difficult to imagine a common house hold pet subjected to extreme procedures of the mildest and painless form to the harshest form imaginable. I am talking about your average mouse, rabbit, cat or dog. At the same time, consumers want to be assured they are using the safest products available, and people want science to find cures for life-threatening diseases. Lately, science has tried to prove out theories and hypnosis through computer algorithms but we still have to rely on physical subjects like the animals referenced. There is no public argument that says we should not test products before entering the market, the debate is the method by which these products should be tested. Animal testing is necessary for biomedical research, but should be eradicated for vanity reasons in terms of cosmetics.…
