User Diary Summary: Philips Hue White Ambiance
User Diary
I liked to use Philips Hue White Ambiance. Thank you for this opportunity!
My first and second experiences don’t have a lot of differences. Unfortunately, all functions that didn’t work during first experience don’t work still. It makes my using area of Philips Hue White Ambiance smaller.
When I just opened the box, it was difficult to understand what I should to do next. Two instructions in English confused me, I tried to find differences in options between them but instructions are the same.
Then it was one more challenge: in my flat router locate in inaccessible place. To connect router and Hue Bridge was very difficult. One more problem is that wires of Hue Bridge are not so long. In my case, Hue Bridge hangs on these wires,

Unfortunately, just “wake up” worked on my application. I hoped that it would wake me up, but it is not. Although, I did not need to turn light when I waked up by a regular alarm. I assume this “routines” is an important feature for Philips Hue White Ambiance, another way, I can just select one color and buy the regular lamp. Changing of color makes Hue especial but clicking controller or phone for this complicate my life.
During second experience I locate Philips Hue White Ambiance in the hall of my apartment. We use this room often, because I live in three-room flat with roommates, and hall connect our bedrooms with kitchen and bathrooms. There are three lamps on the walls and one lamp on the ceiling. Here I found another problem: they needed different types of lamp. My Hue is suitable just for one of them. It was the lamp near door. We use this lamp more often than others. Usually, it is the one lamp in the hall that we use.
It was there during few days but nobody used it by clicker or App. The table, where clicker was, was too far from the door. But switcher of this lamp is close to the door. Habit is also one of reason that we didn’t use functions of Hue. Colors and “routines” were not used also. To summarize this “hall” experience I assume that to locate Philips Hue White Ambiance in the rooms where nobody live is not beneficial idea. Regular lamp is more than enough for

It locates in the kitchen. Garlands is also on our Christmas tree and on the window. It is very convenient to make light darker by clicker for watching on the garlands. It would be enjoyable if Hue would have “routine” that will change intensiveness or color of the light. It is very useful during Christmas and New Year Eve.
Once we had a party in our flat. Dark light was very pleasant during this event. Some guests decided that it is funny to play with Philips Hue White Ambiance. They changed intensiveness and colors a lot of time that was a little bit annoyed for other people. It would be better to add some function to the App that will blocked commands from all other Apps. For example, function that could create “boss” App or extra button on the bridge that would block control of the Hue by Apps would be useful in this case.
Finally, I located Philips Hue White Ambiance in my bedroom again. Unfortunately, functions that was not used by me last time because of misunderstanding, still doesn’t work. My second experience in the bedroom has just one difference with the first: I didn’t have problem with installation of Philips Hue White Ambiance. I still remembered what I should to

Colour in child care spaces is considered the most powerful visual organizer because it helps users in a space deal with visual overload. Therefore, it is necessary for walls to act as a background rather than a focal point within a space, which can be achieved by using luminous yet calm colours for large wall surfaces. Colours have different apparent depths which can be used in child care spaces to manipulate their spatial dimensions. Warm colours usually advance and catch children's attention, while cooler colours recede. Using cooler colours to make rooms seem larger than they really are is often a technique used in child care…

The White Chamber features impressive production qualities, with the stellar soundtrack--reminiscent of Akira Yamaoka who Studio Trophis credits by name as a source of inspiration--in particular being of the highest regard. The mostly ambient soundtrack is exceedingly evocative, expertly complimenting The White Chamber's unsettling narrative and disturbing design. To a lesser extent, the visuals also do their part in developing The White Chamber's sinister atmosphere. However, as previously mentioned, at times it can be hard to distinguish what you may interact with--requiring a certain degree of pixel-hunting. The White Chamber's story is disturbing enough on its own, but the vague and disconcerting way Studio Trophis tells it strengthens its impact. By intentionally changing the rules and subverting the game's reality; the player is constantly left questioning what is really happening in The White…

I think there will be a couple of main lighting. The first will be the spotlight on/ in front of the stairs. This will mainly be on Tillie during her speeches and moments. Then the second will be during the day parts were all the light are on, it’s a little musty though because no natural light is coming through so there is a lot of yellow light, to indicate that the only light is coming from the lights in the house. Shows this idea of solitude, adding more elements to the idea of suffocation in an environment. Plus it could be interpreted that the reason for this as well is because Beatrice doesn’t want the outside world to see the messy world she’s created and because at the end of the play she says she hates the world. Which can be understood that she hates to see the world that is possible better than hers. Lastly, the third lightning will be when it’s more towards the evenings. The top of the stair is dark, yet you can still see the outlines of the top and the people up there because of the illumination of the lights from the bottom of the staircase. There will be a couple of main light points at this part. A lamp by the couch, and maybe some candles in the kitchen with some moonlight shining it. The two hallways will be empty. The moonlight will be there because it will show the idea that the only time Beatrice allows the…

It is clear that the colors found one’s environment have affected their emotional state. When sitting at a desk for 40 hours a week it is important to maintain a positive attitude to increase productivity on daily assignments. The current beige walls in many offices may have the good intentions of producing a neutral environment, but do not provide the spark needed to maintain an effective level of concentration. Therefore, the wall color should be changed to orange to promote positivity in the workplace which will benefit the company through increased morale and productivity.…

If motion is determined, the lights come on. The sensitivity is also able to be switched up, and the lights can come on with a simple snap of the fingers, just because the sensitivity can be set high enough to detect motion almost immediately. At least students won't have to ignore the fact that the lights need to be turned off when they leave, the sensor will automatically know when there is no one inside of the room. These motions have electrical efficiency (Do It Yourself). The worries of leaving without keeping conservation in mind is automatically eradicated, and suddenly there is no need to second guess if you turned the light off before you left your room or…

Do you feel anxious in a yellow room? Does the color blue make you feel calm and relaxed? Artists and interior designers have long understood how color can dramatically affect moods, feelings and emotions. It is a powerful communication tool and can be used to signal action, influence mood, and cause physiological reactions. Certain colors can raise blood pressure, increase metabolism, or cause eyestrain. Of course, your feelings about color can also be deeply personal and are often rooted in your own experience or culture. For example, while the color white is used in many Western countries to represent purity and innocence, it is seen as a symbol of mourning in many Eastern countries. Next, I want to inform all of you about what color psychology is it.…

ABSTRACT Efficient room lighting was always a real challenge especially in these modern times where energy efficient solutions are always more than welcome. On the other hand LED technology was always on the most economical and efficient way of providing lighting. The main problem we always face with LED is that in order to properly generate the right ambient colour we need the right combination on the R/G/B based LED system. Usually, given such a task, a preferable choice is a microcontroller. However, programming such a system is always a challenge. In this paper we will show how a modern Atmel microcontroller combines with the opensource Arduino platform. We will present how using little supporting electronics a PWM based RGB LED light system can be built. KEYWORDS: Microprocessor, Arduino, Atmel, PWM, LED, Ambient light. I. INTRODUCTION…
