The University of Washington, Seattle, suggested by Isaac Stevens in 1861 offers many academic learning opportunities to more than 44,000 students. “Mission Statement” is the school's main goal to provide students with the education and learning skills they need to be successful, and to better their community. With three locations of the University, Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell, the UW offers many different specialties that students can choose from, the main ones being; medicine, engineering, and business.
