1.1 identify the different reasons why people communicate

its important that people communicate so that everyone involved knows the situation. for example if a child is in your care and is not allowed to be picked up by a certain someone then it is important that everyone you work with knows this so that that person is not let into the building an is not allowed near the child. another reason its important to communicate is if a child is going through a tough time and has trusted you with information it is important that the information gets passed on to professionals that can help the child.

1.2 explain how communication affects relationships in the work setting. it is very important that every body who works in the same work place communicates because this can help with team work and makes sure that everything that needs to be done gets done. evryone has different roles to play in the work place so by communicating this will help everyone. communication in the work place is very important.

2.1 descride the factors to consider when promoting effective communication. when your communicating with someone it is important that you keep eye contact with them and you control the pitch in your voice so they dont get the wrong idea. if your talking to a child then you must get down to their level so they dont get frightened by you and keep your voice calm. by staying calm with a child they will understand you more rather than you shouting at them as they will just get upset and frightened and not listen to anything you have said.

3.1 Explain how people from different backgrounds may use and/or interpret communication methods in different ways different backgrounds use different ways of communicatng. for example some people use their hands a lot to explain what they are talking about and are not afraid to raise their voice to win an arguement where as people from other cultures are very quiet spoken and dont use hand
