Recently there has been an increase in underage drinking, especially within college students. Thus, many teenagers and people in their twenties are more easily influenced by alcohol, because of their peers and friends. Despite, the fact that alcohol can only be purchased and consumed by people of 21 years or older it can still be accessed by other matters. The consumption of alcohol often leads to serious consequences and it can become detrimental to one’s life. Consequently, sometimes underage drinking can be caused by freedom, peer pressure, and personal problems. Due to the great amount of freedom underage teenagers receive after they turn eighteen; it can result in them having an invincible feeling. They are no longer over protected and constantly supervised by their parents; therefore, they can finally make their own decisions.
