How would you define VPB’s role on campus?
Vanderbilt Programming Board (VPB) plays a pertinent role on shaping Vanderbilt students’ experiences on campus. VPB encourages students to attend different events and explore different portions of campus organizations ranging from Homecoming mini-week, Tailgates, Rites of Spring Concert, Sports Events, late-night programmings, and interesting speakers. I believe I would be able to bring new and creative things to the WWF Carleton executive team. I am a proactive individual with excellent communication skills who pays attention to detail. I am involved with a variety of Carleton campus clubs such as Free the Children or Mental Health Champions which helps me to not only gain experience with different initiatives but create connections around campus. I also had the chance to practice a leadership role as the president of my high school’s Free the Children club. I would also have experience to bring to the table from working as Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre’s Youth Volunteer Coordinator planning, promoting and running events as well as recruiting and supervising volunteers. Also from…

I really enjoyed reading your post relating to your strengths as a future school counselor leader and areas that you feel need development. I feel that we would work well on an advisory board as co-leaders. We have similar leadership qualities that would compliment each other well. Other strengths that you would bring to the co-leader relationship include adaptability and being inspiring. Being adaptable is a quality that I am working on, however, I could bring advocating and communication skills to our leadership team (Dollarhide & Saginak, 2012). These skills combined along with our other strong skills would help to achieve numerous tasks within a school setting. Ways in which we could work together include collaborating on…
