Truss Bridge Advantages
Advantages
Truss bridges have many advantages that make it more useful for everyday use. The truss bridge is very economical to build and uses very few resources. It uses light materials and small loads of timber or whatever it is being made of. It is also one of the stronger bridges that can be built. The trusses on top of the bridge make it very strong because the triangle shape takes away much of the pressure and spreads the pressure to the triangles and takes it away from the road part of the bridge. The bridge is also one of the few designs that roads can be directly placed on top of. The truss bridge can also be built virtually anywhere, meaning it can be short or long and it will still be strong. It is also very easy to build. The truss

Many of the advantages transfer directly over to our scale model of the bridge, and many of the disadvantages do not transfer over. The truss bridge is one that uses very few resources, and we have a limited amount of resources. It also can be built over a very short or very long distance and the distance between the desks is a long distance, so we know that the is a high possibility that it will fit over the entire area. The truss bridge can be built in a very quick manner as well. Since we can build the original structure very fast we can focus more on adding more integrity to the bridge. Truss bridges are very lightweight so we do not have to worry about extra stress on the bridge just from its own weight and we can worry less about dropping it because it is lighter. The biggest disadvantage to a truss bridge is the massive costs and since we are building a model we do not have to worry about the costs. The truss also needs a lot of maintenance but our model will only be tested once then we do not have to worry about maintenance it again. Also it is very easy to waste materials if you mess up but we will have clear instructions and we will have a smaller scale that is easier to work with. The bridge is complicated though because the triangles must be perfect in order for it to be safe. Since we have no lives to worry about we do not have to worry about safety as
