The beginning of the school year is always the worst. Everyone has new schedules, hallways are devoured by the new freshman, and catching up with friends seems to be the most important thing. One of the most difficult things to digest was how strict and sassy the new AP was. A lot of kids weren't fond of his tone of voice, he spoke with great attitude. He knew he was in for an interesting year. The first week of school went by pretty smooth. I didn’t have any encounters with this hostile AP. I noticed him one day at lunch prowling through the cafeteria. He was hungry to catch someone out of dress code or on their cell phone. I stayed under his radar dodging his violent attacks. A couple of weeks went by of witnessing the pure evils of this man, crushing the dreams of innocent kids who had perfect records. One of those kids happened to be me. I had not one lick of bad behavior written in my record. I never thought there would come a day where I’d get in trouble. It was a normal day just like any other. All of us at lunch socializing when the beast approached our table. He selected his first victim which happened to be my best friend. Apparently too much of her back was showing when she sat down but she begged to differ. She argued with him about it because she had a clean record to. The argument got ugly and she called him his student selected nickname. He was beyond offended and embarrassed. I could see the rage building up inside of him, the devil horns started popping out. He was choking back his tears and his fist cringed into balls. He was thirsty for revenge, and then he made his move. As soon as his arm moved I launched across the table and tackled him to the ground. I unconsciously punched him repeatedly while the thought of what I just did consumed my mind. It was all a blur; I could feel arms yanking me off, blood dripping from my fist. All eyes on me as if I was some type of wild animal. All the students feast upon this type of behavior.
