Traffic jam is very common in the modern era. Due the number of vehicle has been increasing, traffic jam are inevitable and millions of people deal with it. Traffic jam are become part and parcel of life nowadays, this is a super problem. Traffic jam is the situation when every car stuck or only can move slowly and have to queue for a long line. Actually people miss the cause why this problem happened and because of that, people face some effects. There are several cause and effects of traffic congestion. Firstly, cars become affordable nowadays; too many vehicles are produced. Every people have their own cars and some from them a selfish, they prefer to use their own car to go somewhere than use the public transport, because of that too many vehicles on the road especially in critical time. More cars on the road is useless because people need to face a long line and take an hour or more to arrive to their destination, compare than taking a public transport, its save the time, world from pollution and no need to face traffic jam. Secondly, another cause of traffic jam is traffic light not functioning. When this problem happens, traffic jam will occur. People are too busy to think about another people, they prefer to be selfish. When the traffic light not working, people scrambled and not thinking of others. People become heartless too, they didn’t give any chance to others and this is not a good attitude. Next, poor road conditions are one from the list cause of traffic jam too. Pressure on the road has been increasing due the increased number of vehicle and it will cause damages on the road such as the road a become potholes. The pressure especially from the heavy vehicle like a tan of lorry gives a big impact. When road works during the day to repair the potholes, people need to avoid and drive slowly, it will cause a traffic jam and a long line of cars.
