To whom has been given the burden of reading this
To whom ever has been given the burdern of reading this paper, Vending Machines are a terrible idea. Vending machines are terrible for the fact that they require maintenance to keep running, They require a lot of people to spend their money at one in order to even potentially turn a profit.
Vending machines are not cheap. They cost thousands of dollars ($) to purchase and maintain. The machines cost hundreds of dollars ($) to keep fully stocked. In total, over 1 year a business or a school, depending on how many people use that machine could spend thousands of dollars ($) to keep up and running. So a school to keep vending machines would mean that about 800 hundred students would have to buy at least one item over that year.
With all that being said, the machines require an immense amount of customers to turn a profit. If you spend 1,000$ a year on food for the machines, you just need roughly 1,000 people to buy something 1$ or more right? However if 600 students buy something but the machine runs out after 250 students then what do you do? Give them a free lunch? No, the schools will have to either refund them, or give them free lunches or something. Thus causing a huge amount of issues for the schools. The last thing the superintendent of the school district wants to have coming to his office is an angry mob of parents ready to sue the schools for not refunding the students or inputting more machines.
So even though you may be able to think up a ton of reasons why the machines are bad, just remember where there are cons, there are always some pros. Vending machines can potentially generate some revenue for businesses and schools. The machines could provide more options for the students or employees. The options could be healthier things, such as Clif Bars or some granola bars or something. Those are just two pros but there will always be pros in someway, shape or form. They always exist, no matter what.

The Fairfax Recreation Center is a neighborhood fitness center equipped with an indoor swimming pool, exercise equipment, and a running track. The Center is open seven days a week, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Stationed just inside the front doors is a turnstile. An employee oversees access through the turnstile. Before anyone can enter the facility, they must either present their membership card or pay a $6 daily fee. When the employee at the turnstile collects cash for daily fees, he or she also has the visitor complete a waiver form. The employee then deposits the cash in a locked box and files the forms. At the end of each day the Recreation Center accountant collects the cash box, opens it, removes the cash, and counts it. The accountant then gives a receipt for the cash amount to the employee on turnstile duty. The accountant takes the cash to the bank each evening. The next morning, the accountant makes an entry in the cash receipts journal for the amount indicated on the bank deposit slip. Susan Porcano, the Fairfax Recreation Center General Manager, has some concerns about the internal controls over cash. However, she is concerned that the cost of additional controls may outweigh the benefits. She decides to ask the organization’s outside auditor to review the internal control procedures and to make suggestions for improvement. Assume that you are the outside auditor. Indicate weaknesses in the existing internal control system over cash admission fees and recommend one improvement for each of the weaknesses you identified.…

I am currently a student at Delphos Jefferson Senior High School, and we recently read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser in our senior English class. It is a nonfiction novel that discusses the dark side of American fast food. As we’ve been reading, I’ve realized that a large amount of students at Jefferson Senior High drink soda purchased at school-offered vending machines. While these students are young adults and can make their own health related decisions, our responsibility as a school is to ensure that students receive healthy treatment. I understand that soda machines offered in our school are under the circumstances of corporate advertising; a practice that grants our school extra money towards general funds.…

Ed Sheeran was once a street performer, and now all of the songs in his new album are on top places music chart all over the world. The machine offers great benefits, but the price for it is not worth it.
