Things people do that really annoys me. Wouldn't you?
Some people are just plain annoying. It can drive me nuts. Based on a survey i did among friends, here's a list I wish people would stop repeating...by the way, the language used is part of the structure of this "article". Hope you find it entertaining and that it helped you to relax a little. Plese be kind to me. =p

1) Here you are watching a movie..It's just you and the big screen..then you hear the rendition of that soul-less "Can't take my eyes of f of you" ringtone. And it keeps ringing and ringing AND ringing. Apparently the owner is too embarrassed to even take it out. So it rings. And it RINGS. What's the right thing to do? Well, turning off the phone BEFORE the movie started would have been the right thing to do. But since you didn't - because you forgot/thought u did/don't know how/phone has a mind of its own / dog ate your manual- just own up,take it out and turn off that damn thing!

And while we're on the topic of mobile phones...

2) Just because your mobile phone has a camera doesn't give you the right to snap my picture anytime you want. My mobile phone has an antenna that can poke your eyes out, but you don't see me going around jabbing it in your face do you?

3) Yes, your a big fan of LOTR. You read the books..fine..you absolutely LOVE Harry Potter. Read every one of them...but can you please save ur comments till after the movie is done or whisper at least? And by the way, it says right there along with the credits.. "Based on the book 'blah blah'" or "Adapted from the book 'blah blah'" It didn't say anything about it being copied STRAIGHT from the book. The movie is obviously the director's and producer's interpretation. So get over it.

4) Oh... and calling my name when you'r a mile away is NOT a good idea. Besides letting half the nation know my name, there is also the probability of me still not being able to hear you or notice you. Plus, you'll be making a complete fool out of yourself.

5) Train rides are for those of us lacking our own

Why is it that when a book gets it’s own movie that there are several differences between the book and the movie? Some people argue that the book is always better than the movie. There is a reason for this. Firstly, in most book to movie adaptations small details are changed or are just not included. Secondly, the movie often takes short cuts and doesn’t touch on certain aspects that were described in the book. Lastly, when reading a book you are free to make your own subtext and fill in the blanks with your imagination. The movie adaptations of books have always lacked the detail that's in the book, some things are completely cut from the movie to maintain a well paced story, and it fills in the gaps for us making the experience less unique.…

Everyday people get messages or emails on their phones that they must check to keep in touch with their everyday lives. But most of the time people are using their appliances at dangerous times just because they need to be up to date with every single thing going on around them. Using electronics at terrible times has led to many accidents, “Every year, thousands of pedestrians are injured as they walk in cities. Some researchers say 1 out of 10 of those injuries are caused by a distracting mobile device such as a phone or portable music player”( “Hello Barbie, Goodbye Privacy?”). People are using devices at wrong times and getting hurt because of it. They cannot look away from their phone because there is a whole other world in their hands. Appliances are wanted by all generations, but are not necessary. Similarly, in Fahrenheit 451 the characters are addicted to screens and cannot look away from them for even a minute, " 'Will you turn the parlour off?' he asked. 'That's my family' "(Bradbury 46). Mildred is so connected to the television that she calls it her family and will not look away from it for any amount of time. She is such an addict that she cannot turn it off. The society Bradbury has created is not healthy for people of any age or any style. He proves that automation is hurting us…

Concerning the plot of the movie in relation to the book, I would like to leave it as close as possible. Obviously not everything can be exactly the same because of time constraints, but historical accuracy is of the utmost importance. Therefore, only minor plot and manuscript changes will occur such as the removal of the long descriptions of Beowulf and other characters, which take up most of the book.…
