The Two Levels Of Prevention

Out of all the levels of prevention, the second level is the one that confused me the most. In my opinion, some of the elements in the second level of prevention, such as an influenza vaccination program, looked like they could be applied to the other levels of prevention as well (Stanhope and Lancaster, 2010). In the example that I gave, the vaccination program, not only is a method that is aimed at reducing flu rates, but it is also a form of prevention, which is identified as belonging to a primary intervention level.
