The state of Texas has a lot of different beautiful places but with no doubt Austin is definitely one of the most fun, weird and visited places. Austin is the 13th most populous city in the United States of America and the fourth most populous city in the state of Texas. Austin has an area of 297.9 sq miles (771.6 km²), it was founded on December 27, 1839 and it has a population of 820,611 as 2011. It’s a place where no matter who you are, Austin welcomes you the same. It could be a place where you can come visit with your whole family and visit a lot of fun places for children for example: Bullock Museum, a place where young adults can go out, have fun and meet new people from all over the world like Downtown, a place where a lot of important and famous people come and make new business for example: Austin City Limits, a place where students have the opportunities to study and make their dreams come true at The University of Texas. Austin is just a place where you want to enjoy every second of it and live it to the fullest. Every place has its own interesting facts and all of them are unique in its own way. “This beautiful city has an average of 300 days of sunshine a year! Austin is the home to North America's largest urban bat population and is also home to the 7th largest non-racing stadium in the world. The Colorado River runs through downtown. The highest point in Austin is Mount Bonnell at 785 feet. Austin is rated the 14th safest city in America and is the only city in the world known to still operate a system of Moonlight towers.” Three things about Austin, TX that stands out the most are: Home to one of the largest college universities in the nation, Home of a massive variety of food and the city known as the live music capital of the world.
