I know this because at the beginning of the book he tries to kill the Spirit Bear and it says "Cole found courage in the Spirit Bear's stillness. It must have been scared. Why else would it just stand there instead of attacking? Cole felt his smoldering anger ignite"(Mikaelsen 64). In this example, Cole attacks the Spirit Bear simply because he thought it defined him. He also doesn't appreciate nature and thinks he can take it down. Cole thinks life is useless until he thinks about the baby sparrows. Cole thinks," The sparrows were so frail, helpless, and innocent. They hadn't deserved to die"(Mikaelsen 82). You can tell he defiantly has a change of heart when he

In Legend by Marie Lu, the author uses characterization to explain how June might believe that Thomas had murdered her brother instead of Day like she had previously believed. At this point in the story June is looking through the case file of Metias, her brother’s death. She looks at the poorly taken crime scene photos of his dead body and notices some marks on the knife’s hilt. Looking at the photos more in depth, she sees marks that are not blood. Instead they are black, thick, and have texture to them. The text states, “These black marks look like rifle grease. Almost like the streak of grease that was on Thomas’s forehead when I first saw him that night” (Lu 226). This reveals how June might now…

Character creates after some time. Many surmise that a lot of a man's character is shaped ahead of schedule in life. Be that as it may, we don't know precisely how much or how early character creates. In any case, it is sheltered to claim that character does not change rapidly. A man's detectable conduct means that his or her character. This conduct can be solid or frail, great or awful. As soon as he learns about Animalism, Boxer makes himself available to do anything for the rebellion. After the rebellion at the Battle of the Cowshed he proves once again how irreplaceable he is to the farm, as he proves he is a valuable soldier but he shows us that he is a kind and gentle soul as he feels pain when he thinks he has killed the young farm boy. He wakes up early everyday so that he can get more work done around the farm as he gives himself the job of making the farm a better place for his fellow animals. He adopts the maxim “I will work harder”. This leads him to do great things such as building the windmill twice almost on his own.…
