The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty Character Analysis

Have you ever lost an hour of drive? Or do you not remember driving through a place? In the story “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” by James Thurber, is a story about a man named Walter Mitty and he is a daydreamer that dreams all day. He is a man that loses all of his day dreaming and daydreams about things that he sees and anything around him. He is a man that nobody really appreciates and knows very well, his wife is very controlling and bossy. Walter is a loyal guy, he does not have much of a life, and he bad memory. If I had the chance to eat dinner with Walter Mitty then he would be a good guest and a bad guest. A few reasons why Walter Mitty would be a good or bad guest are that he would be a very entertaining and dangerous person, he would be a fun story teller, and he would also be a bad listener. One of the three reasons why Mr. Mitty would be a good and bad get is that he would be dangerous and entertaining. I see how he would be a bad guest because he gets distracted easily. In the short story, Walter is driving to the store and drives past the hospital; he then daydreams about becoming a surgeon. This show how fast he can get detracted, also how much he daydreams. I believe that he is a great guy but he just needs a chance to be heard or listened to or even watched. He may be looked at like a weird day sleeper but I think that getting the time to hear him out and a see how his day was. He is also a horrible guy he never focuses on the task at hand. I think that even though Mr. Mitty has his bad parts but, he also has good things to help him to and he is a great man with an amazing imagination. This is why I think that it would be fun and boring to have dinner with
