The River Monologue
I feel the blood drain out of my face, Blake fucking rivers. The most arrogant, annoying guy on the planet. He doesn't give a shit about school! I raise my head and look at his direction to find be is already looking at me, he is not happy either.

ahh shit.

"I can't believe I'm stuck with Jared for this project, he hates me" Casey groans, linking her arm with mine as we make our way to lunch. The past few classes went by in a blur. Jared and Casey dated last year but she ended up breaking up with him because he was... Well, boring.

"What about me? I'm stuck with Blake" I snort and she looks at me and shakes her head.

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

Hello! My name's River. River Brave. Sounds pretty sassy, right? Just as much as my personality. But it's just because i live alone, like, for 8 years? And now my 19th birthday is coming up in July. I don't know who my parents are or were, because i was found wandering in the streets alone by elder couple. They were pretty nice but died when i was 11. I was able to take care of myself because i continued living in their house for 3 years, but i left because there was no shops, malls or stores, if there were, then they are abandoned by now. So i took some money with me and headed to the city, but it's dangerous here and i need to hide from other people. Why? Because I'm not normal. "I'm unique!" I keep telling myself, since i burned a man alive.…
