The Philosophy Of Play-Based Learning
To conclude, communication between psychology researchers, educators, and curriculum creators is crucial on developing a teaching and learning framework developmentally appropriate for young children.
Today’s teaching curriculum seem to have embraced the philosophy of “play-based learning”. As Kym Brown explains play is “the natural way human beings learn and their learning will be more effective if they have the opportunity to get their hands on something and play with it, or create something themselves, rather than being told to remember something”. (Sunday Mail, 2014)
Technology, computers and other developments that are available in the society we live, have made it easier for children to communicate and for teachers to enhance learning.
