The person I admire most
The people who get to know us best are our parents. They have the greatest influence in our lives because they are the people we see the most and have known for the longest. They sacrifice many luxuries to give their children the best life possible. My dad is the person I admire most, and it is because of him that I am the person I am today.
My Aunt Debbie would say I am a lot like my dad. We share a love for a lot of the same things. We love to learn ,eat , and spend time with family. My dad has 4 sons and 1 daughter. As I have gotten older he has influenced my life, my choices, and my personality.
My dad is short, white, and the sweetest man on earth. He is responsible, selfless, kind, happy, and most of all he never gives up. He likes to help others. I like to think it is because he has been through some things in his life that he does not want others to go through. He wants to be there for people and in turn have someone there for him. My brothers do not treat my dad very nicely at all. I wish they would realize how precious our time with him is before he is gone and we cant get him back. He would bend over backwards for any of his children or family but my brothers fail to see that.
My dad was born in Gahanna, Ohio to Melvin Tobias Sr. and Patricia Tobias. He had one sister Debbie Tobias. From what I know he never had any traumatizing experinces in his childhood. But when he was 20 Years old and found out my mom was pregnant with my brother. They were married and very young still. He was in the Army trying to provide for his new family. The Army became to much for him because he was missing out on his son's life and not seeing his wife much so he left the Army.
Soon he became worried about paying bills and putting food on the table, but he never lost hope, and kept working hard to improve his family's quality of

Throughout my childhood, my father had always traveled between Los Angeles, California and Uruapan Michoacán in Mexico. He would work for six months in California and then return to Mexico for the rest of the year without a need to work. Why would a father put his family through these challenges? Besides the obvious reason of our family needing finances, we later discovered that our dad, upon reaching his thirties, was going through some sort of midlife crisis. My 15 year old brother Joe joined a gang short after my dad left back to the United States. He became difficult and refused to listen to our mother. He would stroll the the streets all night and routinely come back home with items we suspect were stolen. My parents had always pondered upon and discussed the consequences of leaving us alone, without the guidance and support of both a mother and father. But because of our financial situation, my father needed to make the sacrifice. We all needed to sacrifice something.…

My Dad is an extremely hard working person. He is always up and ready for the day before anyone else in my family and He is also the last person up always working on His projects. Just as much of a harder worker He is my Dad is also twice, even three times nicer than. My Dad is the most loving person I know, He has been extremely supportive in all my endeavors in life. He always reminds me of how much He loves me and care for me, He also sacrificed so much of His life to give me a better opportunity. He works selflessly to provide for my brothers and sisters all our necessities and goes the extra mile to ensure that we have everything we need to be successful. He always is there for me when I need Him. He would literally drop whatever He is doing just to hear me rant or if I need a shoulder to cry on. He never belittles me or my problems and insecurities. He constantly reaffirms me of my potential when I feel just like garbage. He is always telling me I am destined for greatness, I am priceless and worth more than the world to Him. Even when I hear Him tell me these things over and over I believe Him because He is extremely genuine. It is actually because of Him that I want to help people with my life. He always told me to never be greedy or money hungry, but that I should use my wealth to help the poor. He never looks down on people in a worse position than Him, He always calls other people our brothers and sisters.…

Secondly, another reason why I admire my dad is his ability to admit his wrongs very easily and try to get others to balance him out. If my dad is unable to do something, he will let you know then and there, giving you enough time to make arrangements. People always say that it takes a man to admit wrong and since my dad is very good at doing this, I admire and respect him tremendously. Also, since he is very adamant on staying true to these values, he has always tried and instill these values into me, and for that reason I am thankful and appreciative as not everyone gets guidance like this.…

It is because of his difficulties in childhood that my father learned the importance of being supportive and understanding. As my father always said, "You have to make mistakes in life to learn from them." And he let me make those mistakes. Then he would talk to me about the decisions I made and why things went wrong. He helped me sort out many difficult situations throughout my teen years. He did this with love and understanding, never with criticism or meanness.
