The outsiders book, and movie are both interesting and entertaining but they aren’t exactly alike.
They both are similar ,because they both talk about the same people and tell the same story. The book has several differences than the movie like dally dying instantly after being shot by the fuzz ,Johnny’s mom yelling at pony and two-bit those are just a couple of differences in the two there are several more though.

Some friends who are just “greasers” and they keep having problems with the “socs” this problem goes on and on until the finally the “greasers” have enough they have a big rumble and it ends the problem.

It contains very strong theme about dysfunctional family, use of drugs and crime. I guess the board of education was afraid that the students will imitate the events in the book. However, I understand why they decided to re-allow it in schools. The author, who wrote this book around our age really wanted to deliver that we can all live together in peace and conflict only bring more conflict. Although the family in the Outsiders wasn’t the best family you could ask for, they had so much love inside them they didn’t actually portray to each other. They just didn’t know the right way to express it. I would rate this book 4/5 because of the effectiveness of the author trying to deliver her message in a coherent manner. I highly recommend all teenagers to read this book. Overall, I think this compelling story will grasp even the most reluctant readers thanks to the deep bond of sympathy. There is also a movie “The Outsiders”, although I happen to feel that it fails to deliver the strong message as realistic and in sequence as the…

Ponyboy gets out ok, Dally burns his arm, but a huge piece of wood falls on Johnny, breaking his back, and burning him badly. Overall The Outsiders was a good book that was able to appeal too many of my emotions and was able to explain the problems within their society and how it affected the people in it. The characters and plot development were all good and played an essential role in the overall meaning of the…

People like to watch movies because it is animated and they can watch with others. Some like to read novels because they can escape from the world and prefer some time to themselves. People who love to read novel have a different personality to those that love to watch movies. Most modern teenagers would say that they would prefer watching the movie than the novel, but even those film lovers would prefer the novel with these two texts. The Outsiders by S.E Hinton is a much better text than The Outsiders directed by Fransis Ford Copolla. The novel is much easier to understand and there weren’t any bad actors/actresses. The movie however has many continuity errors and it seemed rushed.…
