The Maze Runner
Compare and Contrast apropos the book and the movie Maze Runner.
The Maze Runner is written by James Dashner. The book and the movie can be classified by the many similarities and differences. It can be classified (difference and similarities) in terms of the the actions of the characters Thomas and Teresa and also can be classified in the ending of the book and the film.
Thomas is the protagonist in both book and the movie. There are plenty of action sequences described in book in comparison with movie. For example, Thomas goes to rescue Minho and Alby when they try to come out of the Maze in both the book and the movie. Another example is that Thomas punches Gally in his face when he kills Chuck in the book, whereas in the movie he doesn’t punch Gally and sits next to Chuck and cries.
Thomas also stings himself with the Griever shot which occurs both in the book and the movie. In cessation, there are many similitudes in the actions of the dramatis personae
Thomas in the book and the movie.
Teresa was the friend of Thomas in both the book and the movie. Teresa is alike and disparate in her activities in the movie and the in the book too. Teresa was in coma in the book and took a long time to wake up, whereas she was sleeping in the movie and woke up faster than in the book. Teresa speaks to Thomas in her mind in the book, but she doesn’t speak in her mind to Thomas in the movie. Teresa is the one who punches the code in for opening the Griever hole which happens in the book and in a similar manner in the movie too. So the conclusion is that there are many disparities of the actions of the role Teresa in the book and the movie.
The ending in the book have many dissimilarities and similarities from that of the movie. For instance, Chuck died in both the book and the movie. All that Grievers get shut down in the book, whereas the Grievers in the movie get killed by the maze
