The Lorax Theme

Have you ever thought a Dr. Seuss book, like The Lorax, could be leaving a bigger message than just rhyming and being a children's book? Every fictional or nonfiction book has a theme or main idea but what theme or main idea can a reader gather from reading a story like The Lorax or an article about deforestation? Well, everyone perceives things differently however, how do you see an main idea or theme in a passage? Furthermore, I could have a story and article that are giving out the same theme and main idea in different ways. For example, I know the theme of the story The Lorax is to respect nature because it talks about respecting the animals, pollution, and how trees are a big part in deforestation. Not only this, this story portrays how people shouldn't take what they have for granted and how they should care for the world. Additionally, I know the
Well, to start The Lorax is for one fiction unlike the article that is nonfiction which is straight up real facts. To add, The Lorax relates more to children than the article does because it uses rhymes and descriptive pictures. As an illustration, Dr. Seuss would show us how the pollution is affecting the world so it applies to kids in by using vibrant,vivid drawings that children can really soak in and understand. In contrast, the article is just straight up real facts with no pictures making it very intriguing for adults instead of children who like color and brightness. In addition, the article is continually applying its facts to real life. For instance, it tells you what people in the real world are doing to stop deforestation and how you can help as well. On the other hand, The Lorax uses magic and unrealistic things like made up animals and a made up habitat. In a result, both compare and contrast in several ways but are conveying the same message to save nature and respect
