The Influence of Organisation Structure to Performance
“THE SWAY OF ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE ON PERFORMANCE IN THE GHANA CIVIL SERVICE”

ABSTRACT

This study examines organizational structures of the Civil Service, It impact on organization performance and to offer a possible alternative to the Ghana Civil Service existing organization structure. Hierarchy and its associations with status, feudalism, and power often leads to relentless rigidity. The structure and the array of job positions that took the foci away from working with the process efficiencies, individual role effectiveness, and throughput orientation within the system. Members of the organization a conclusion was drawn that mechanistic organization structure to some extent does not improve performance but both mechanistic and organic organization structure works in supplementary. They work together to attain organization goal.
