The Importance Of Being In The Honors Program
I have always been an individual who sees a challenge and seizes it. This year, upon arriving almost two months late into the school curriculum, I still decided to take 4 AP courses, one of those being Calculus. I don't believe in taking the seemingly easy way through life, if I didn't have the desire to task myself with achieving better and greater than what is expected of me then what would be the point in applying to an institution that is shown to have rigorous courses that stimulate student learning? That's what the Honors Program is really for- to appease those who seek self-improvement, and for those who aren't satisfied with the mundane effortless route that so many choose to take.
