The hate of death

There are many distinct evils in the world today. More specifically, terrorism. Terrorism is a giant problem in not only America, but across the globe. The worst terrorist attack in America happened on 9/11. The events on that day led to a stronger union of the people, war in the Middle East, and pride in the United States. First, the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 led to a stronger union of the American people. The United States of America decided after that solemn day that it was time to fight back against terrorism. The attacks on that day were meant to break the United States. They were meant to destroy the U.S. and ruin everything that it has become, but instead, the attacks only strengthened America. The attacks that happened on that day also lead to what is called the War on Terror. After 9/11, George W. Bush decided that it was time to go to war with the terrorist group called Al Qaeda. This Pakistani group of terrorists was founded by the man named Osama Bin Laden. Bin Laden was the man that organized the attacks on 9/11. The War on Terror began on the 7th of October, 2001. That means that America has fought in countries in the Middle East, including; Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan, for almost 12 years. This war might have caused the deaths of many innocent men and women, but more importantly it has brought pride to the United States. Pride is described as a feeling of deep pleasure of ones achievements. America has the right to be prideful. Al Qaeda sought to shut down and destroy America. They tried to tear down America, but the U.S. said no. America fought back and showed the world that they won’t fall to terrorism. They showed the world that it was good to fight against it. America still remains as strong as it always has been. No terrorist can merely stop what America has come to be. In conclusion, terrorism is still recognized as a terrible threat to the world. Unlike slaying a mighty dragon, or killing a savage beast
