Many of the Spells and codes are written on the margins of the pages in the textbook, and Harry uses these to be better at Potions. When they arrive, Dumbledore uses magic to freeze Harry in place so that he cannot interfere with whatever is about to happen, but Harry also stays hidden by his cloak of invisibility so that no one knows he is there. Draco Malfoy runs into the room, yelling and threatening Dumbledore’s life. Very weak and unable to reach his wand, Dumbledore stalls Draco, trying to convince him that he isn’t a killer and if he spares him that the Order of the Phoenix can and will protect him and his mother from Voldemort and the rest of his army. Draco lowers his wand, but Snape forces his way into the tower. Harry is angered that he cannot move or speak, but he still can hear everything. Snape raises his wand and kills Dumbledore, by sending him flying over the edge of the tower. Since Dumbledore has died, his spell on Harry has been broken, and Harry rushes after Snape, angered and wanting to avenge the death of his friend and headmaster, Dumbledore . Snape manages to escape, and Harry is devastated. He stares at the locket in his hand that he and Dumbledore stole and realizes that it is not a Horcrux, but that inside the locket is a note addressed from someone named “R. A. B.” Harry tells his friends he will not be coming back to Hogwarts next year but instead will search out and kill Voldemort by destroying all of the Horcruxes, then Ron and Hermione vow to join

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is part one of a three part trilogy called the Millennium Trilogy. The novel was written in Sweden in 2005, by Stieg Larsson. The book sold millions across the world and has been translated into several different languages, including English in 2008. It also has two films, one filmed in 2009, and the most recent one in 2011. I believe the novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson is one of the best crime novels on the shelves because of the twisting plot lines of the story, the dynamics of the characters, and the style of writing that Stieg Larsson uses.…

Fahrenheit 451 is a very interesting book. I say this because it is a book that is written in a way, the writer thinks the world will be in the future. Its cool to see what they had envisioned, as well as if they were right about anything that they had said. Ray Bradbury, was right about a lot of the future, we know as today.…

The “Book Thief” by Markus Zusak follows the story of a 10-year-old girl named, Liesel Meminger. The book takes place during the Holocaust of Adolf Hitler’s ruling in Germany. Throughout the story, the reader meets many courageous characters who showed true signs of courage and bravery. I believe that Hans Hubermann is the character that best illustrates courage. Hans shows a symbol of courage as he gave Max, a jew, a hideout from the Nazis.Hans also shows true sacrifice as he risked his own family’s live to save Max. He also had the courage to give a jew a piece of bread, who was on his way to a concentration camp. This led to him and the jew whipped and Hans was sent to Germany as a punishment for his actions. Hans did all these things because he was…

This is depicted through various techniques such as rhetorical questions and similes. For example, Harry has come to the realization that he must die and ponders on his self worth. “Why had he never appreciated what a miracle he was, brain and nerve and pounding heart?” This rhetorical question exemplifies his understanding of his significance and capabilities as an individual, therefore a realization of whom he is (belonging to himself). This assists him in completing his mission in the novel despite the difficulties. Similes construe belonging to oneself in the novel, with: “Like rain on a cold window, these thought pattered against the hard surface of the incontrovertible truth, which was that he must die,” displaying his emotions as he finally comes to terms with his mission. The recognition of who he is and his full potential helped him finally comprehend that he must die. Illustrating that he had reached a fulfillment of character thus finally belonging to himself wholly, in turn helping him overcome his…
