The Geography Of Argentina
There are 12 countries in South America, and Argentina is one of the most beautiful countries in this continent. This country offers a very interesting history, and captivating geography. It is also, a place rich in culture and tradition with a unique identity of its inhabitants. Which makes it such an appealing and distinctive country.
Location
Argentina is located in the southeast part of South America. It is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean in the east. The geographical coordinates of the country are 34 degrees south and 64 degrees west. Its neighboring countries are Paraguay and Bolivia in the north, Uruguay in the east, Brazil in the northeast and Chile in the west.
Climate
Argentina has a mixed climate. In the north it is temperate, in the center it is arid, and in the south there are glaciers, meaning it is cold.
Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is the capital city of Argentina, it’s also its largest city. Buenos Aires is sometimes referred to as "The Paris of South America".

The most popular ones are the Iguazu Falls, Los Glaciares, Bariloche, and La Boca. The Iguazu Falls is a series of magnificent waterfalls located on the Iguazu River, straddling the border between Brazil and Argentina. Los Glaciares Park shows a scenario of mountains, woods and lakes, including a large portion of the Andes that’s practically under ice. San Carlos de Bariloche is a city on the foothills of the Andes known for its Swiss-like atmosphere and its chocolate shops. The city with its surrounding mountains and lakes is famous for skiing, but is also a great destination for sight-seeing, water sports, trekking and climbing. La Boca is a working class district of Buenos Aires. It’s a popular neighborhood for tourists with its colorful houses and the Caminito Street, where tango artists perform and tango-related memorabilia is sold.
