Macbeth was written by William Shakespeare. Many people believe that if you say “Macbeth” inside a theatre, it releases a curse on you and the production (“Schumm”). There are many theories as to why there is a curse; one theory is that Shakespeare included actual black magic spells in the dialogue of the weird sisters.
