Actually, until recently many drivers, especially male driver took the chance of night time in driving in federation and state roads. PDRM, (2006) reported the faster speed of a vehicle, the greater the risk of an accident. Speeding, even if the vehicle going five miles per hour over, in the wrong place at the wrong time, it can bring death to somebody. Speeding is also based on the traffic on an area, road conditions, weather and lighting. When driver speeding, they had to risk their lives

Malaysia is considered relatively safe for driving compared to other developing countries. But if we observe past years’ and recent road accidents statistics/reports, we can perceive that the propensity of road accidents in Malaysia is on the rise. Now I think, Malaysia really requires an investigation in the geographical distribution and regional variation of accidents rather than looking at the accidents in a national perspective. There may be certain geographical areas where accident proneness may be higher. These variations in accidents can be analyzed by developing a set of geographical indicators for different categories of vehicles (buses/cars/motorcycles/tucks) such as percentage of accidents involving a particular category of vehicle in a particular geographical area (state/district); vehicle related accidents per 100 vehicles in a particular geographical area; accidents per million vehicle kilometers in a particular geographical area, etc These indicators may be rudimentary in nature as they only indicate the extent of problem and have several limitations. Furthermore, these indicators can be used for developing an accident proneness index for each geographical division.…

Another reason behind car accidents is Taxi drivers. City’s roads are crowded by Taxi drivers and busses. These drivers all they can see are the customers standing on the side of the roads forgetting that to get to the customer the Taxi has to clear his road first and give a flasher for the other drivers to notice that. This reason isn’t only the Taxi’s mistake, as the customers who are in need of their services mainly don’t notice where they are standing. Some people stand in the middle of the road, others on cross sections, or much stand beside road traffic lights. Since most Taxi’s cars in Lebanon are poor in condition, they lack flashers and break lights. These cause drivers behind to collide with there cars and cause an accident.…
