We've recently watched the movie 23 Skidoo both in class and on our own time at home. When I first saw it in class, I was a bit confused and I didn't really understand what was happening in the film. After re-watching it, I understood that it is a film about a post-nuclear bomb explosion. What's different about this movie is that there is no narrative, or actors, but there is music. I find that it makes you concentrate more on what's happening in the film because no one's explaining it to you. The music featured in the film wasn't continuous. It made the setting more mysterious because sometimes, the music would be almost scary sounding, and you'd think that something was about to happen. It made me create other scenarios…
I was only a member of the Fallen Lamb for a few nights at the time, but never had I seen the sea as beautiful as it was then. She glistened a deep blue, and clashed against the hard wood of the ship, waves rising until it hit the hull then falling back into the sea. Getting used to the constant rocking of the ship was incredibly difficult at first, but I managed to retain my balance after a week or so. Anyways, I made my way to the main deck, passing through the kitchen first so I could grab a bite to eat. All we had left for breakfast were apples that were once fresh, but old and bruised now.…
In the first section “A Whisper of Angels” Nicholas and Henry keep there feelings hidden because the society that they live in does not socially except two men having that kid of affection for each other. As I read in the first chapter “Henry had been my best friend since childhood” (Florida pg. 3-8) Nicholas and Henry have been best friends since they were little boys so they were very close . Nicholas recently lost his father so he still is mourning his death and Henry is always there for him emotionally. As I read ahead I realize that Nicholas and Henry have feelings for each other and the author , Florido fore shadows that when Henry says “The thing is Nic, I, well I just don’t” (pg.10) this is when Nicholas asked Henry if liked…
The 2nd most important main character is Shahrazad. I think you could consider Shahrazad creative, bold, and sharp. Shahrazad is creative for coming up with stories and telling stories to save her life. She is bold for volunteering to marry the Sultan when no one else wanted to because he was killing off a wife each night. She is sharp when Dunyazad suggested a story to tell, but out of the hundred she had told she remembered she already told that one.…

Before Holden goes on a date, he has the impression that all girls are phonies, and is assured by his opinion after his date with Sally. When Holden takes Sally on a date, he is disgusted with her when she goes to talk to George. For example on page 141, “....The jerk noticed her and came over and said hello. You should've seen the way they said hello. You'd have thought they hadn't seen each other in twenty years. You'd have thought they'd taken baths in the same bathtub or something when they were little kids. Old buddyroos. It was nauseating. The funny part was, they probably met each other just once, at some phony party. He went to Andover. Big, big deal.” (141) Holden was baffled by all of this because they had met just once and Sally…

The main characters of my book are: Corgan, Sharla, Brig, Seabrig, Brigand, Grimber, Delphine and Mendor. The characters are believable in my opinion, maybe if we could live in the future I would believe in them more. The character I liked the most was Corgan, because he is a very responsible teenager, intelligent, and thinks like me. I can relate to Corgan a little by the way he thinks about all the problems that happen in the story, who I would also solved them. I haven’t done none of the things they did at the story,…
