The Boston Celtics: The Best NBA Team
I think the best NBA team is the Boston Celtics because they’re good. Furthermore, the Boston Celtics also have the most NBA championships in the league. The Boston Celtics had one of the best players to ever play the game named Bill Russell he was only six, eight compared to a regular NBA center who was about six eleven through seven foot, he was one of the best defensive players back then, he also had a really high vertical. Some might argue that the Boston Celtics aren't the best team that ever played because the people who say this nonsense are probably L.A Lakers fans and the L.A Lakers have the second most championships in the league. However, I think that they are the best, they have the most NBA championships in the league still today …show more content…
That's a lot compared to today's player todays players only win one through five. Some might argue that there was no competition back then but i think there was like the Minnesota Lakers which was Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West those guy were pretty good. However, the Milwaukee Bucks had a good team, they had Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Oscar Robinson those two were beast together. Bill Russell was probably the best center to ever play the game of basketball. The closest center to ever play the game would probably be Kareem Abdul Jabbar because he leads the league in scoring. Bill Russell is so good they let him deliver the NBA championship trophy to the champions every year. The people that would argue would probably say that Bill Russell was too short. Finally, the Boston Celtics have the most championships in the league and they are the best overall. Isaiah Thomas is one of the best point guards in the league today, and he is one of the shortest players in the league too. Jalen Brown was ranked fourth overall when he was in high school out of the whole United States. The people that will argue with my statement are definitely gonna be Los Angeles Lakers

Wilt Chamberlain was one of the best big man the NBA had ever seen. He was considered one of the greatest and later compared to the great Bill Russell as well. He set records that are still set to this day. Kobe Bryant has only come close to one of his records but never passed it. He has done things in the NBA that were considered almost impossible. But that was what separated Wilt from the rest of the league, he was past his time. Chamberlain was the best and most dominant player on and off the courts not only because of his physical size but the size of his moral and character as well.…

“The Book of Basketball: The NBA According to the Sports Guy” by Bill Simmons, was a book only the Sports Guy could write. Save a few hundred pages for Simmons to inform the readers on how he became the basketball and Celtics fan he is today (hint: it was his dad choosing between a motorcycle and season tickets to the Celtics), why as a child he called himself Jabaal Abdul-Simmons, footnotes galore, his hatred for Isiah Thomas and Wilt Chamberlain, and many of the greatest “What-if’s” in basketball history. Other than that, Bill Simmons uses this behemoth of a book to indulge on his version of “The Secret” of basketball, winning championships, and gives his take on how the NBA Hall of Fame should be constructed. In a pyramid style ranking with five levels Bill Simmons has who he thinks should be where, as of 2009, and each level getting smaller and smaller due to the higher standard. It all ends with the 12 best of all time, sitting atop the pyramid like kings with Michael Jordan number one. Again there was no one other than Simmons to write this book. “You could dress me red, drop in into a Crips neighborhood, tell me that I have 12 minutes to start a high-caliber NBA conversation before somebody puts a cap in my ass...and I would…

Basketball to me is overall the best sport out of all of the other sports such as baseball, soccer, and football. Out of all these sports basketball is the best sport to watch on television. Basketball is very fun to watch on television because you can take the moves that the professional’s perform and add them to your style of play. I take many of my moves from professional basketball players and make them my own because they expand my arsenal of tricks. My favorite player to watch is Kobe Bryant. He is an all around athlete is still going strong at 30 years old. He knows how to play both sides of the game offense and defense. I look at Kobe Bryant as the ultimate weapon. I want to play like him as I continue to get better and better every time I play basketball. There are just endless possibilities…
