An inspirational journey is a journey that is moving, stimulating and touching to the audience and this is exactly why these two texts, the movie, ‘The blind Side”, written by John Lee Hancock and Peter Skrzynecki’s poem, “Immigrants at central station”, should be included in your webpage as they provide to the audience these exact emotions. As for any migrant they will do anything for a better life for them and their family although they often have little control over the results and this can be seen in this text. This text reveals the inspiring journey of the protagonist and their family. The lack of control is revealed with the use of similes. This can be seen when the poet writes, “Turned red and dropped like a guillotine”. This journey is moving and it reveals the lengths that these immigrants go to in search for a better life.
