Have you ever has a complicated friendship? In the book The Absolutely True Diary of the Part-Time Indian, written by Sherman Alexie; Arnold Spirit or Junior does. At the start of the book he has a problem with his friend Rowdy, because he leaves the reservation to find a better life, he still lives in the reservation. As he does this he lost a few friends and but he also gained friends. As Junior leaves he goes to a all white school. The book teaches us that friendships are complicated.
