Some physical features such as landforms for Italy are mountains, rivers, and lakes. The Arno River and three other minor rivers flow through it. One of the mountains is the Lardello which is in Tuscany, which is pretty close to Florence.

Human-Environment Interaction
Italy is surrounded by the Mediterranean and Red Seas. They rely on many different types of sea food. Apennine Mountains runs along the length of peninsula. Even though Italy is a mountainous country it is also very productive in crops. They cultivate things such as grapes, wine, cereal, macaroni, citrus fruits, olive oil, and rice.

Region
Florence is the capital region of Tuscany. It has an area of about 23,000 square kilometers (8,900 sq. mi) and a population of about 3.8 million inhabitants.

Movement
In Florence there are many ways to get around. For example many people use trains, cars and boats to get around. Italy’s movement of goods is usually shipped through the Mediterranean Sea and other surrounding bodies of water. Other goods can also be driven by trucks.
