TERMINAL REPORT DURING THE
BS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING REVIEWEES VISITATION
ON AUGUST 15, 2014
The undersigned wrote a letter to the VPAA/OIC of the University, Dr. Elvin F. Gaac if he could visit the Mechanical Engineering reviewees since the group texted that their pre-board exam will nearly come on Monday, August 18, 2014. The VPAA granted the request of the undersigned. On Aug. 14, 2014, the undersigned boarded through Montenegro shipping lines to go to
Manila to accomplish his task. On the next day, he went to Alcorcon Engineering Review Center located at Sampaloc Manila to talk with staff and reviewers regarding on the status of the RSU
Mechanical Engineering reviewees. We have discussed the percentage passing of the group during their weekly exams and some of the RSU BSME reviewees made at least top 3 of the overall reviewees. But of course, the results were not the basis of the actual passing on the actual exams. We even talked on the possibility of not allowing students to take exam if their status on the review sessions will not meet on the 80% passing the review center.
At 9:00 PM , Aug. 15, 2014 the undersigned visited also the lodging houses where the group stayed. Fortunately, one of the lodging was located few walks at the review center but others would have to ride jeepney. He observed that lodging was overcrowded and no enough table for them to have study well. On the other house of the group, they have two tables for their study sessions. Enough space to concentrate on their study since the house they rented was purposely for them.
The reviewees and the undersigned have had conversations regarding their problems on the subject matter in the review sessions as well as the accommodation of the review center. So far so good the group told. They were very happy that a University sent a faculty representative to visit them as well as to give regards to them.
