Tension Between Romeo And Juliet
How can one’s actions when they are upset or in a rush bring different repercussions then if they were calm and used logic?

How someone acts when they are upset or inpatient could differ from when they are calmed down. The difference between these two is that they each could bring different repercussions. This is shown in depth in the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet and in today’s world. In the play written by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet both make mistakes because they were thinking irrationally and because they were either upset or being inpatient.

In the beginning of the play, Romeo and Juliet meet at the Capulet masquerade ball/party. After meeting they “fall in love” and decide they were going to get married. Romeo

This quote by Friar Lawrence in William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, perfectly sums up two different types of relationships. One of which is represented by Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, who run fast into their love even though their families have a seemingly unending feud. They attempt to keep their relationship secret, which causes complications and ultimately ends in their death that barriers their families feud. A similar, but slower, relationship, which is the second type, is formed as a friendship between Lennie and George, in Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, who are ranch hands that end up working on a farm in the Salinas Valley. They spend the majority of their lives together, George, small and smart, and Lennie, bigger but less intelligent, until trouble with a man on the ranch named Curley and his wife leads to George killing Lennie. When the two texts are compared, George and Lennie have a stronger relationship, because they always care for each other, they have trust, and their relationship is based off of friendship, while on the other hand Romeo and Juliet’s relationship is developed off of regretted actions, infatuation, and empty words.…
