Technolgy Is Dangerious Or Useful

Some people think that technology is more dangerous than useful. What is your opinion?

Abstract
This study is about the use and effects of latest technology and its effects on our lives. This study shows that technology had both positive and negative effects on our lives. It depends on how we use the technology. The abuse of technology can be very dangerous and had very negative effects on our daily life. Meanwhile a careful use of technology makes our life easier and safer. If we look back into past, we see that life is very difficult without technology. Now we even cannot imagine living such a life without electricity, without communication technology and without transportation technology. Lots of lives are been wasted because of lack of medical technology in the past. Now life is much easy than past. We can communicate fast with internet, laptops and computers world becomes a global village. But as a result of abuse of these technologies humans are been very isolated now. Mostly teens and young boys are seem to be busy on internet and not interested in their social life and behaviors.

Introduction
In recent years, the amount of technology available to us has risen sharply, from touch-screen iPhones to social media access. "Advances in technology have been great and have spread across the globe, but whether or not this surplus of technology is helpful or harmful has yet to be fully determined. According to a study discussed in the Washington Post, teens today spend more than seven and a half hours consuming media, which includes social networking, playing video games, watching television, and surfing the Web". Additionally, time spent on a mobile phone has increased drastically. Pew Internet and American Life Project conducted a study in 2011 which showed that more than three quarters of teens own cell phones, an increase of 45 percent of teens who owned cell phones in 2004.

Technology is useful
"Many people around the world use technology. Technology is very helpful and useful and it makes many people’s life easier. Most people use technology to communicate and socialize. To communicate with others in another country, people use Skype. To socialize people use Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram. People who have children use computers or tablets to let their children play when they are bored. Students use technology like computers to do research on homework or project. Technology has boosted every industry. Businesses have grown, creating more employment opportunities. Advancements in technology have led to the evolution of newer and faster modes of transport and communication. The application of technology has boosted research in fields ranging from genetics to extraterrestrial space. The computer and Internet technologies are ubiquitous. They have changed every sector; be it medicine, tourism, education, entertainment or any other. Technology has touched every aspect of life, making it easier, better and different. Technology has changed living."

Technology is dangerous
Technology has the potential to either make or break us. Every day we use technology one way or another and every single day technology advances. The abuse of technologies such as iPods and laptops can lead to vision problems and hearing problems. Not only this but when we use technology we become extremely lazy and inactive. Using technology does not have to be bad, but at the rate that we are using it many negatives can come about and this is being observed now.
Physically technology is bad for humans, but also sociologically. Technology leads to alienation, social economic division, an ugly attraction and dependence. Social Networks also become a problem, often stopping many people from being productive, allowing them to waste huge chunks of time and also creating sociological effects. Technology making us more isolated or is it bringing us closer together. Technology is not only the internet or luxuries such as iPhones, televisions, etc. Technology has also changed the way we eat, where we go and how we generally live. My concern is that humans have lived for thousands of years without any technology in small hunter gatherer communities, but now we have all of this technology and the population on Earth has exploded and will not stop anytime soon.

My opinion about both views
"It 's more helpful than harmless. Technology opens a lot of possibilities and makes our lives way more convenient and comfortable. You don 't want to live back in the ancient times - where were no phones, no cars, no computers, no transportation, and the only way how could you communicate with people who live far away is to deliver a handwritten letter all by yourself or paying someone who will deliver it for". Today you can communicate with people from the other side of the planet instantly. And the medicine, Today you can cure a lot of diseases and live a normal life many, many years but even just few hundreds of years ago only one from 10 kids made it to 21 - remember how many times. Without the modern world those cases would be fatal.

Conclusion
"The technology itself is useful, but the degree some people use it as a substitute for real life, or drive texting, or run over people because they are blinded on one side by their phone. That is indeed a problem. It 's helpful with harmful side effects". All this technology we have has crippled people 's abilities to communicate in person effectively. People are less confrontational and turn to their phones to "voice" themselves constantly. More helpful because it 's medically: more helpful, scientifically: more helpful, educationally: more helpful, industrially: more helpful, in entertainment: more harmful, in building, engineering and construction: more helpful.etc.So you see it 's originally intended to be more helpful than harmful. But if people who use it badly increased, then it would be definitely harmful.
