SYLLABUS FOR LIFE SPAN DEVELOPMENT/HUMAN DEVELOPMENT- 204-301- SUMMER 2013

Required Text: Jeffrey Jensen Arnett, Human Development, A Cultural Approach, 2012 Reality Check: · This class takes a substantial amount of time and study. This is an ONLINE COURSE. This class utilizes the power of the internet and the college's course management portal ANGEL, and MYPSYCHLAB website. There are large amounts of material to memorize AND learn, and these materials are required for any college level class. The tests are extensive and thorough, covering all required chapters. ALL EXAMS ARE ONLINE. YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER WITH A RELIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION, OR COME TO THE COLLEGE TO WORK ON THEIR COMPUTERS. YOUR EXAMS WILL BE TAKEN THRU THE MYPSYCHLAB AREA, AND YOUR FINAL EXAM IS ONLINE, AND WILL BE TAKEN THROUGH ANGEL. YOU "MUST" PURCHASE THE TEXTBOOK, AND YOU MUST REGISTER IN BOTH ANGEL AND MYPSYCHLAB. · The EXAM DATES are firm, and they are all online, including the FINAL EXAM. Please be aware of all the test dates and the closing deadlines. · I welcome your emails and will respond as quickly as I can. This can add a bit more of a connection between you as a student and me. I want you to contact me if you have any problems or questions with any of the tests, or any of the coursework. Contact by email any day, any night, and I will do my best to respond within 24-48 hours. · If the expectations of the course are unclear to you, it will be your responsibility to call or email me to express your needs prior to the due dates of any assignment.
