Now That You're Here by Amy K. Nichols is about Eevee Solomon- your basic book smart high achiever. She gets the best grades and has her whole future planned out. Danny is a street-smart graffiti artist from a parallel universe who wakes up in a different Danny's body- the Danny from Eevee’s universe. Eevee, her friend Warren, and their favorite teacher try to solve the mystery of why Danny switched universes and how to get him back. I think the author wrote the book to show the struggle of teenagers finding their identity. She does this through taking away Danny’s identity by throwing him in a parallel universe and making him and Eevee contemplate who they really are.
